Nurturing connections
Our Mission
Heartstrong Psychology is built upon the understanding that humans long for connection, safety and understanding in order to thrive socially and emotionally. As such, we aim to help foster a collaborative and warm therapeutic environment to help build more emotionally aware, attuned, and resilient hearts and minds.
Our work is underpinned by evidence-based best practice, with a specific focus on attachment, given its important role in psychological well-being. We draw from many modalities, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to ensure our clients have a broad range of tools in their mental toolbox.
